Andrew Noble:
Andy
began racing Triathlon in 1990. After 6months in the age group category he
turned Pro and raced across Australia for 3 years and then took his first trip
to France for his European Triathlon season debut. Andy then spent the next 8
years racing 5months in Australia and 7months in France. 1994 was the first year
Triathlon was televised on live TV in Australia and Andy received a contract for
the next five years racing the series. Andy also raced some Duathlons during
this time. Winning the Duathlon World Championships in 1996 and two 3rd place
finishes in 1994 and 1998. 1999 was his first visit to the USA Triathlon circuit
and Andy won the USTS Series that year winning an Isuzu Trooper SUV. A back
injury in 2000 slowed things down a bit and he then started racing Xterra's with
wife Candy. Andy is still involved with Triathlon and races sporadically
depending on Coaching and Family commitments.
Other facts about Andy.
In 1996 raced 16 races in Europe in 16 weeks winning 13, with two 2nd's and
a third place.
Andy Captained his French Triathlon Team winning the 1998 French Club
Championships
Andy has been coaching Master's swimming since 2001.
Andy Coached wife Candy to her Xterra World Championship win in 2002.
Andy Began coaching Triathletes in 2003.
