Becky Padera

of Saucony's) and then had Candy coach her. Biking was also something new and she is rapidly improving as she logs the hours on the bike. Becky's page.

Bill Sullivan
Bill is a regular swimmer at our 11am master's swim sessions. His main race this year is Ironman Arizona later on in the year. His longest race to date was 70.3 Rhode Island. According to Bill it should be a piece of cake to double the distance and do the full Ironman. Bill loves it out in Arizona so much that he plans to move there later in the year and make it his permenant residence.

Paul finished his 6th Iron Distance Tri in Montreal on Sept 10th 2011, 12:20:32 not a p.r. but after two heart surgeries, and other multiple medical issues it was a day to celebrate. This could not have been done, without the help of Candy, and Andy. Paul has completed 140
Triathlons, including 6 Ironman distance, with a Pr of 11:40.
Has done multiple swims in Hudson River NY, all of the 100 x 100's CAAN swims, and a 9 mile swim

Kara Pizzelli
Kara Pizzelli grew up in Winthrop, MA and moved to the South Shore last year.  Her and her new husband are currently living in Quincy, MA.  Kara competed in Division III Track & Field as a heptathlete in college.  After college everyone suggested competing in triathlons.  She decided to give it a try about 10 years later.  After moving to the South Shore she joined the Master's Swim program and attended CAANSports Clinics and saw improvements in both her swimming and running.  Kara recently started her 4th season at an Olympic Distance triathlon, St. Anthony's Triathlon in St. Petersburg, FLA.  With the help of Candy and Andy, she improved her time from last year by 13 minutes.  She plans on competing in Cohasset Triathlon, Cranberry Country Triathlon, and Duxbury Beach Triathlon among a few others this summer.

SueAnne Clark
SueAnne lives in Philadelphia.  She just competed in the Xterra World Championships knocking 40 minutes off last year's time to finish 9th in her age group.

Carolyn Shea

Carolyn has just completed the Chicago Marathon 2007. Despite the unbearably hot temperatures and the race being stopped, Carolyn was able to make it to the finish line.  The BAA recognized her time accomplishment and awarded her a spot in the 2007 Boston Marathon. In 2009 Carolyn will do the Boston Marathon and Ironman France and a few more Triathlons in between and after.
